Contrary to what most people believe, the most decisive factor in making money, building wealth, and financial freedom is not motivation. Nor is it perseverance, discipline, effort, talent, or luck. While all these factors matter, none of them are the most crucial in achieving the goal. As I see it, the biggest determinant in wealth creation is… … Choosing the right path!! Yes, that’s it. That simple. If you decide to open a pet supply store, that’s your path. If you’re a doctor, that’s your path. If you’re a university professor, another path. A postal worker? That’s a path too. An online entrepreneur? Yet another path. When you change jobs, you change paths. When you start a social media account for business purposes, you create a new path. When you launch a YouTube channel or a newsletter, you're opening more paths. Every path leads somewhere. Every single one. No exceptions. Tell me which path you've chosen for your life, and I’ll tell you how close or far you are—in my biased opinion—from reaching financial freedom. Let me give you a few examples:
Paths are like vehicles, and many vehicles are absolute garbage. If you put Fernando Alonso in a Dacia and you drive a Ferrari, you’ll win the race. The goal, then, is to choose a path (vehicle) that propels you to freedom as fast as possible, and ideally, with the least personal cost possible. So, you need to pick a path that allows your effort, motivation, or talent to be asymmetrically leveraged to generate wealth. Asymmetric leverage—where you give 5 and get 500—that’s the key. And that’s it. Nothing more. Nothing less. Now, take a few minutes to reflect and analyze the path you've chosen to build your financial fortress and maybe, just maybe, reach freedom.
If the assessment is positive, then go all in! If not, change your damn path. Get out of that crappy hatchback and find yourself a goddamn Ferrari! This is what I’m trying to do right now… And, as a suggestion, you could start here. Is this piece of Real Estate A Good Investment? PD 1: If you liked this email, don't keep it in secret and forward it to a friend. When you have something truly valuable to offer the world, don’t beat around the bush or hide behind metaphors. Offer it straight up. No sugar-coating. No fluff. No perfect words. Or borrowed-from-books strategy. Or watched-in-social-media approach. Just raw and real. That’s exactly how I operate when a company or individual asks me for advice. Unfiltered. Without Vaseline. I tell them what’s really going on — and it’s usually not what they want to hear. I say it with fewer words and less...
Some people say they learn more from their mistakes than their successes. That’s true… but that doomed. My non solicited advice of today is “don’t try that in real estate”. You simply cannot keep making mistakes in real estate to learn… you’ll end up broke! The cost a lot of money. There is an old proverb that goes something like this: “A fool learns from his own mistakes, the wise man learns from the mistakes of others.” So, don’t make mistakes that you can learn from others. Many people...
Did you know that there’s enough money circulating on this planet for every human being to have a net worth of $1 billion? One billion dollars! I repeat. One billion. The question for you now is. Are you getting your share? If you’re not, it’s because you’re thinking in terms of hard work and limits, not in terms of abundance. Working on emptying your inbox won’t make you to get a fair share. Nor reviewing for the third time the Power Point presentation. Nor reviewing the minutes of meetings...
