The idea of passive income is a fairy tale. Make money while you sleep. Ha! Sorry. Do you know what you need for that? Money. A lot of money. And if you haven’t previously built a damn empire, you won’t have enough money. The reality about creating that empire is different. It’s raw, ugly. I’m not here to sweeten the poison. Being an entrepreneur is not a fantasy, it’s a contact sport… when you’re the punching bag. What you’ve been told about real estate is a lie. Entrepreneurship in this field is a damn hell. Forget about luxury cars and photos in Bali with a laptop checking how money comes in into your account. Being an entrepreneur is waking up in a cold sweat knowing that tomorrow you could lose everything. It’s investing in an idea that might fail before you tell your mother you quit your “secure job.” It’s having the courage to look problems in the face and say: “Is that all you’ve got? Because I’ve got more.” Most people prefer the comfort of not taking risks. And this is not a criticism. But let me tell you something. Pain is a gift. If it doesn’t hurt, it’s because you’re playing in the league of mediocrity. The stress, the sleepless nights, the red accounts, the new bills, the unexpected expense, the new tax, the “no” from clients… all those are medals of honor. But… Do you know what’s easy? Complaining about your boss while you heat up your lunch in the office microwave. Do you know what’s not easy? Building something from scratch and keeping the faith. Below, you’ll find all I’ve tried in real estate, and my results. Crude, raw, ugly, but real. You read it in a few hours. You’ll save lots of bad nights. PD 1: If you liked this email, don't keep it in secret and forward it to a friend. They will thank you enormously one day. Phones, tablets, robots… Every skill you have today and that you believe is marketable won't be in a few short years. These will be some skills though that will remain in extreme demand for a decade or so. AI engineers. Why? Because somebody needs to deploy the wonderful alien technology we've discovered - to increase automation of every company and organization. Some will become millionaires, and billionaires. Most will be employees. I saw the trend 25 years ago with communications. Great...
Although Christmas Eve, I'm not talking about elves.... but I'm sure you have seen these ones. When some people are given a little bit of power, they tend to use it ruthlessly. Frustrated people that use that power to get away for a few seconds of their miserable lives. Today, I’m talking about a poor public servant that because a stupid mistake they want to charge me 14.937 euros instead of 668,32 euros. “I have the power to impose it, and I won’t change my mind” And tomorrow, I’ll find...
Yesterday a subscriber said to me that “money is not the most important thing in life”. I agree. Air and water tend to be more important. Because, let’s be honest. Money is not the most important thing in life, but money does affect everything that is important. When you think about it, money affects our standard of living, health, and education. Studies show that poor people have poorer health, poorer education, and a shorter life span. People struggling for money, even if not poor also have...
