The reason why you may be angry and unhappy

Social media is trash.

You know it, but you get trapped.

Comparison — especially on social media — is scientifically linked to lower self-esteem, higher envy, and feeling like life basically sucks.

Yes, just like that.

You know it, but you never listen.

But hey, it’s your life. Ignore it. Scroll away.

You could literally be happier just by deleting a few apps from your phone.

Yes, just like that.

And no, this isn’t just me ranting — science says so.

But again: do whatever you want.
If wasting 4 hours a day watching strangers pretend to be happy is your idea of a good time, who am I to judge?

Just listen a story that told the great Isra Bravo in his newsletter a few days ago.

In a study, scientists asked people to look at random Instagram posts.

Some saw parties, beaches, and drunk clowns with cocktails.
Others saw... food and trees.

Guess what happened?
Those who scrolled through the “cool people” posts ended up feeling way more envy, way crappier, and hating themselves a little bit more — after just a few minutes.

Impressive, right?

Social media: destroying souls faster than fast food destroys arteries.

And here’s the kicker:
Even if you know those photos are fake, staged, and filtered to death...
Your brain?
Yeah, it still falls for it.

It still compares your real messy life to their perfect fake snapshots.

No context.

No reality check.

Just pure, unfiltered, low-grade self-loathing.

So yes, congratulations.

Every day people are getting dumber, lazier, and sadder — while feeding the beast by staring at nonsense for hours.

That’s the reality.
And if you don’t like it, don’t come whining to me.
Blame your brain.

Blame science.

Blame Trump, Putin or the guy whose name starts by Z that it’s hard to write.

Blame your neighbor’s cat if it makes you feel better.
Just don’t blame me.

No matter where you are in your journey.

Your journey is yours, and yours alone.

Don’t aim the Ferrari… at least not yet.

Focus on what you can control and forget the rest.

Focus on your work and forget the rest.

Focus on what you know or what you want to know and forget the rest.

If you want to know something about real estate, I have a plan for you.

You can use if for a 100k€ project or a 1 million or a 10 million euro, dollars or whatever project.

The concepts work all the same.

They called it Berlin Brandenburg Airport.A “flagship” project.Germany’s answer to efficiency.Built for the public. Delivered by a “consortium.” They forgot one tiny detail: systems. Unbelievable when you are talking about Germany, right? But real. Fire safety? Didn’t work.Smoke extraction? Backwards.Wiring? Rewired 3 times.Doors? Over 1,200 installed — then reversed — then reinstalled. Because the systems didn’t talk to each other.Because no one was in charge of systems...

“Winners and losers have the same goals. You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” This is what James Clear says in his book, Atomic Habits. A book you should study if you want to do any good in life. People still behave as beheaded chickens in life. Jumping from a shiny object to the next. From a low-key task to the next. From a fire to the next. No systems. No learnings. Don’t show me the wheel, I’m too busy pushing this rock. I’ve seen this...

People prefer to be right to make money. People prefer to be right to win projects. People prefer to be right to deliver projects. Keep that in mind. Power points, papers, boring conferences to celebrate how much theoretical knowledge we have about nothing. People get this always wrong. When people seek advice about business, they think that it’s a serious mistake to only accept criticism from people making millions. When people seek advice about delivering a major bridge, they think that...
